Dear HDCC players, parents and volunteers
The 2023/24 season is already upon us and we couldn't be more excited. We're working hard behind the scenes to get things ramped up for the season ahead. Please see below some key information about the 2023/24 season:
Juniors: key dates
2 September: Junior Skills Day and clothing collection day at Montview Oval from 10am
8 September: coaches and managers meeting and junior kit collection, Montview Oval Clubhouse from 7pm
9 September: Season start date for all junior age groups (ground availabilty TBC by Ku-ring-gai Council, so some age groups may start on 16 September instead - to be confirmed)
30 September: no cricket (October long weekend)
16 December: final round before summer break
3 February: first round back after break
6 April: Junior kit handover day
Seniors: key dates
2 September: first pre-season club training, from 3.30pm - 5.30pm at Montview Oval
7 September: captains meeting
9 and 16 September: Pre-season T20 competition for registered players
23 September: First round of competition
Club events:
8 October: Juniors social event, club friendly matches and screening of India v Australia World Cup at Montview Oval Clubhouse
4 November: Club Trivia Night, Asquith Bowling Club
16 December: Club Pizza Night, Montview Oval Clubhouse after play
27 January: Club BBQ Night, Montview Oval Clubhouse after play
2 February: Junior Photo Day, Montview Oval
4 May: Presentation Night, Asquith Bowling Club
