Club History
Hornsby District Cricket Club was formed in 1995/96 as a result of an amalgamation of the then Hornsby RSL and Hornsby Heights Cricket Clubs. The Club was originally known as Hornsby Combined Cricket Club, but has since developed its own unified identity. Hornsby District Cricket Club is incorporated under Hornsby Heights Sports Club Inc.

We are affiliated with the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai and Hills District Cricket Association, which has operated successfully since 1926/27. Our Junior, Girls and Senior teams play in competitions arranged by this Association. The Association is a key source of players for the Northern Districts Cricket Club and is celebrating its 100th year.

Hornsby District Cricket Club exists to provide the means by which girls and boys, women and men can actively participate and grow in the game of cricket in a friendly, fair and safe environment, at a reasonable cost.
We actively encourage and support the training and development of our players, coaches and others who wish to learn the game and to improve their knowledge and skills. We participate in the promotion of cricket and our players and officials regularly engage in representative cricket for the Association.

Everyone involved with the Club agrees to participate in accordance with the Code of Behaviour and any other special requirement of the Club.
​
The Committee meets regularly, usually on the first Monday evening of each month throughout the year for reporting, planning, budgeting and other necessary management purposes. All Club members are welcome to attend and participate in the meetings.
